Solar Tour
Explore solar in Warrenville! The Illinois Solar Energy Association is excited to host the 11th annual Illinois Solar Tour. As a part of the National Solar Tour, solar-savvy home and business owners throughout the state will open their doors to show off their solar! This FREE open house type event allows attendees to view real-life examples of how their neighbors are harnessing the sun’s energy to generate power, heat, and slash monthly utility bills.
Warrenville will be a part of the Illinois Solar Tour, showcasing solar installations at 3S501 Landon. Connie and Michael Schmidt welcome you to view the 13 panel array mounted on their barn at their home lovingly dubbed, Twin Star Ranch. Visitors are welcome to chat with one of the installers and/or the owners as well. Added benefits will be to greet the three horses living below in the barn!
