Our area is home to three species of owls that are permanent residents—the great horned, barred and screech—as well as several others that visit only during the cold weather months. We’ll take a look at who you’re likely to see, where to see them and when as we also examine their life history and roles in local ecological communities. Presenter Pam Otto is the Manager of Nature Programs and Interpretive Services for the St. Charles Park District. The program is sponsored by NALWO and is appropriate for teens and adults. No preregistration needed.
