Stroll Through History

From 06/10/20 3:00 pm until 06/10/20 3:30 pm
Categories: Outdoors
Join our Museum Director, Sara, for strolls through history, a new program to allow safe exploration of history in this historic time. On Wednesday, June 10th at 3pm, meet Sara at the Warrenville Cemetery to learn about what cemeteries can tell us about our community’s past and learn about people buried in the cemetery and their impacts on Warrenville history.
During Phase 3 of the Governor’s Restore Illinois plan, all gatherings must be limited in size, commit to social distancing and wear a face covering or mask. To ensure everyone’s safety, this program will be limited to 6 attendees who must pre-register by emailing us at info@warrenvillehistorical.org or call us at (630)393-4215. Attendees will be asked to wear a face covering during the entire program and social distance from other attendees during the program. This program will be rescheduled if weather does not permit the program.
Additional Stroll through History programs will be scheduled throughout the summer, so if you are unable to register for this first event, we will have future dates so stay tuned.
Have a site in Warrenville you’d like to explore through a Stroll through History small tour? Let us know! You can also schedule a tour for a scout group or homeschooling group by contacting us at info@warrenvillehistorical.org or call us at (630)393-4215.
We know this is an unique time in our history, but hope by strictly following state and local guidelines we can still safely explore history!
