The DuPage Symphony Orchestra returns to Cantigny! The orchestra, led by Barbara Schubert, conductor, will perform a 75-minute concert without intermission.
The musical theme is Hollywood Heroes, featuring exhilarating music by Elmer Bernstein, Klaus Badelt, James Newton Howard, and (of course) the great John Williams. Indiana Jones, Wyatt Earp, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Star Wars heroes, and more: you’ll meet them all through the magnificent film scores of modern Hollywood! Join us at beautiful Cantigny Park for an evening of adventure, love, fantasy, and the triumph of good over evil, as celebrated in some of the most memorable musical creations of the last 50 years.
This concert is free with $10 parking per car. Seating is on the lawn throughout the Tank Park. We encourage guests to bring chairs and blankets, and picnics are welcome. Concessions are available from Mamie’s Toffee & Treats, Golden Eagle Hotdogs, and Aunt Tina’s Sound Bites. This is a rain or shine event.
