Opening Reception for 2 Exhibits
You are invited to the opening reception for 2 exhibits at Gallery 200 in West Chicago on Friday evening form 6 to8. Come to meet the artists and enjoy refreshments.
"Corazon de carton" is a gallery exhibition of cardboard art by women cartoneros. Cartoneros are informal picker who collect recyclable materials, paper and cardboard. The women featured in this exhibition use their skills and creativity to transform cardboard into beautiful and functional objects. See examples of this colorful art work.
