On Friday, September 4, Two Way Street Coffee House presents the highly acclaimed award-winning duo Sparky & Rhonda! Sparky and Rhonda Rucker sing songs and tell stories from the American folk tradition – brilliantly. These internationally recognized musicians, authors, and storytellers perform fingerstyle and bottleneck blues guitar, blues harmonica, old-time banjo, piano, spoons, and bones.
The duo has released 10 CDs, and has performed at the Kennedy Center, Smithsonian Folklife Festival, on NPR and PBS. Among their many accolades, they received the Spirit of Freedom Commemorative Medal of Honor in 2014.
