Composting education offers assistance to homeowners that would like to set up indoor composting (vermicomposting) or backyard composting. We will demonstrate and discuss various compost bin options. Learn how to save money, conserve water and create a nutrient-rich soil amendment.
Upcoming Composting 101 workshops are open to all community members 14 and older. We will teach you simple ways to get a backyard compost bin started. We are currently offering two different dates and times for our fall workshops at SCARCE in our Education Center. Each attendee must register separately as space is limited. There is a $10 registration fee.
