The City of West Chicago’s Police Department and the West Chicago Park District will be once again hosting West Chicago’s Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, June 3 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Reed-Keppler Park between ZONE250 and Wiggly Field.
This family-friendly event is held annually, and allows children of all ages to explore and experience a variety of large vehicles from fire engines to tow trucks to squad cars. Attendees will be encouraged to touch, climb, and ask questions about the different vehicles and how the machines help assist the community.
Please note that from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. the event is designated as a sensory-friendly time and no flashing lights or loud noises will take place between this time.
